Bhutan National Baseball Team Winter Camp Set

Baseball has become one of the fastest-growing new sports in Bhutan and many youths have shown love for the game. The Bhutan Baseball and Softball Association has conducted 15U and 18U leagues in 2022 and learned that the kids who participated have the potential to compete at the senior level.

The Bhutan Baseball and Softball Association will be conducting a national team camp this winter. The camp will be held from 5th- 12th January for ages 16-25. The main objective of this camp is to identify players who will be selected for the Bhutan National Baseball Team that will compete in the MyBhutan Adult Baseball League next fall.

The Bhutan National Baseball Team will be coached by American Marvin Moore, who has coached in the U.S., Switzerland, the Philippines, and Brunei.

The Bhutan National Baseball Team will be having training sessions in the winter, spring, and summer. The national team is also hopeful of hosting an exhibition doubleheader against India, Nepal, or Bangladesh in 2023.
