Bhutan Baseball and Softball Umpire Classes

The BBSA will be conducting classes for umpires and coaches in January and February. The main focus of the classes is to teach the rules of baseball and softball.

The classes are also designed to train local umpires with a focus on understanding the basic skills required to umpire a game. Coaches will also be included in the classes to better understand the different rules of baseball and softball.

Umpires will be taught how to manage the flow of the game and to work together as a unit to ensure that the correct calls are being made behind the plate and on the base paths.

"These classes will be very important for both the umpires and the coaches, and will help to make the games more enjoyable for the kids," said Choki Tenzin, BBSA baseball coach.
