Bhutan: Baseball and Softball Winter Camp Starts Monday

The 2022 BBSA Baseball and Softball Winter Camp will start on Monday, January 2nd, at the Motithang Higher Secondary School sports field. The camp will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily until Saturday, January 7th.

The camp is free for all ages (6-16) and will focus on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, and pitching. The camp will be directed by the BBSA coaching staff consisting of Marvin Moore, Sanjeevan Raj Gurung, Choki Tenzin, Tshering Zangmo, Jigdrel Wangchuk, and Pratap Cameyon.

The BBSA will introduce a variety of new youth baseball and softball leagues in 2023, including 8U, 10U, and 12U. There will also be 15U baseball and softball leagues for teenagers and an adult men's baseball league for players 17 and older.

All camp participants are encouraged to bring water, a cap, and warm sports attire.
