The 8U Tee Ball Division will begin in 2023 with a 10-game schedule. The mission of the tee ball league is to introduce the game of baseball to boys (ages 6-8) in a fun and safe environment.
The tee ball division utilizes "soft" baseballs and aims to provide beginner players an introduction to the basic fundamentals of baseball - hitting, throwing, fielding, and baserunning.
The 8U league will consist of teams competing in weekend tournaments that feature three teams playing two games apiece. All games will have a 60-minute time limit and all players are guaranteed to play a minimum of two innings per game.
Tee ball teams will also play exhibition games at the annual Bhutan Baseball Day celebration and 18U All-Star Game festivities.
