BBSA Player Spotlight: Jamyang Tshomo

As alien as the game sounds, baseball and softball is still a fresh and new sport in our country. I first heard about it when the Bhutan Baseball & Softball Association coaches visited our school to promote the sports.

I was instantly fascinated by their description of the game and was completely taken by their words. Later, I was introduced by Sir Yeshi Lhendup to the game and eventually started playing at TBC from the date of 15 August 2022.

Furthermore, to my amazement, I was even selected for the U-15 Baseball Champions League which further boosted my interest and confidence in the game. However, the most fulfilling thing that I learned is about the need for teamwork to make the game a success because it's undeniable that no single effort can whet the taste of victory in this game.
