BBSA Player Spotlight: Lhaki Dema

My only thought was to become an educated woman until I found out about baseball and softball. Baseball & Softball brought me joy and overwhelming happiness. I created beautiful memories in the first tournament I played, the U15 Bhutan Amateur baseball league at Changlimithang Stadium.

I clearly remember coach Choki Tenzin’s words at the finals, he said "well team, we’ve come a long way, we practiced so hard. But I want to have fun with it, let’s treat this like every other game we have won. Let’s go have fun! We all got up and yelled, let’s play hard! Those words touched me.

Talent may get you out on the field, but it’s attitude and effort that will keep you there.
