THIMPHU BASEBALL & SOFTBALL CLUB
THE RED PANDAS
Established in early 2019, the Thimphu Baseball & Softball Club (also known as the “Thimphu Red Pandas”) is the Kingdom’s first officially recognized baseball club. The club consists of both a Club Team and a Club Grassroots System. The Club Team competes in two 15 game seasons annually against other club teams in the country. The Club Grassroots System hosts open practices and scrimmages for boys and girls age 6-18 every Sunday in the capital.
The club originated as a community open to all interested in playing baseball in the capital to be able to attend and play for free. We still live by this principle.
