Bhutan Cultural Exchange Steps Up to the Plate: A Campaign for Bhutan's Youth
Thimphu, Bhutan –[10-09-2025] – In a powerful testament to international friendship and shared vision, the Bhutan Cultural Exchange (BCE), a US-based non-profit, has launched a major GoFundMe campaign to support the youth development programs of the Bhutan Baseball and Softball Association (BBSA)for the remainder of 2025 through 2026.
This initiative continues a profound partnership that began in 2021, when BCE’s initial belief and crucial operational support provided the foundation for the BBSA to launch its full-scale, functional operations. That early act of trust catalyzed a national movement, introducing the sports of baseball, softball, and Baseball5 to thousands of Bhutanese youth. From building operational capacity to connecting the BBSA with a global network of supporters, BCE has been a cornerstone of the program's success.
Now, BCE is renewing its commitment by spearheading this fundraising effort to ensure the sports continue to grow and thrive, reaching more children in more districts across the Kingdom of Bhutan.

After first visiting Bhutan in 2015, she was captivated by the country’s philosophy of Gross National Happiness and its rich culture. She dedicated herself to creating meaningful opportunities for cultural sharing and support. Under her leadership, BCE has worked tirelessly to facilitate authentic exchanges, provide educational opportunities, and support community-driven projects that preserve and promote Bhutanese culture while empowering its people, especially the youth.
