BBSA Player Spotlight: Yeshey Namgay Lham

Baseball & Softball is, was, and always will be the best game in the world to me. In the year 2021, Bhutan Baseball and Softball Association organized their program at my previous school, from 2-3 hours of training my soul stepped its foot into the world of baseball and softball, and it was the moment from where my heart opened its door to this game.

Sadly, I wasn't able to train myself during my school days because of the location however I still cherished the moments that I had, and as I had wished I was able to hold the bat and the ball again. During that time I fully gave my heart to that very game and participated actively. I learned the rules and regulations needed in the field.

Talk about gender equality there's no doubt about it. The game is open to both males and females. On the very top, it provides us with golden opportunities and encourages us to move forward even when life gives us millions of reasons to break down and cry.

No man is perfect in the world without a good teacher. As said I was able to do my best in the field because of the words, support, and activities given by my coaches. For making me who I am right now, I'm very grateful to my coaches who are worth more than a thousand books to me.

The BBSA is recruiting boys and girls (ages 6-15) who want to learn how to play baseball and softball. CLICK HERE to register today!
