Thimphu Baseball Club Opens RICB 18U Men's League With Shutout Win

Thimphu Baseball Club defeated Taba Lower Secondary School, 23-0, on Saturday afternoon in the opening game of the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan 18U Men’s Baseball League at the Loselling Middle Secondary School sports field.

A pair of games are slated for Sunday. Dechencholing Higher Secondary School will battle Changgangkha Middle Secondary School, and Royal Bhutan Bodyguard will take on Loselling Middle Secondary School

The RICB 18U Men's Baseball League is sponsored by the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan. The co-sponsors are Number 7 Olakha, First Floor Restaurant and Bar, Hutah Diary, and Hayate.

The Bhutan Baseball and Softball Association is the national governing body for baseball and softball in Bhutan, and is a member of the Bhutan Olympic Committee and the World Baseball Softball Confederation.
