Weekend Preview: RICB 18U Baseball League Tripleheader

The third week of action in the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan 18U Men’s Baseball League continues on Saturday with Loselling Middle Secondary School squaring off against Changangkha Middle Secondary School at 2 p.m. at the Loselling Middle Secondary School sports field.

 The RICB 18U Men’s Baseball League will play another tripleheader on Sunday. Unbeaten Thimphu Baseball Club will battle Druk School in the opening game at 9:30 a.m., while Taba Lower Secondary School and Royal Bhutan Bodyguard will tangle at 12 noon. Dechencholing Higher Secondary School will take on Changangkha Middle Secondary School in the final game of the day at 2:30 p.m.

 The league is sponsored by Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan and co-sponsors are Number 7 Olakha, First Floor Restaurant and Bar, Hutah Dairy and Hayate. 

The BBSA is the national governing body for baseball and softball in Bhutan, and is a member of the Bhutan Olympic Committee and the World Baseball Softball Confederation.
