Baseball5 Outreach Program & Youth Olympic Team
With the support of the World Baseball Softball Confederation, Baseball5 was introduced to Bhutan in 2021. The kingdom implements Baseball5 as a means to introduce the fundamentals of baseball in the most remote regions of the nation. Traditionally, most Bhutanese Olympic athletes live and train in the capital. With Baseball5 being a Youth Olympic Game, our vision is to build the most diverse Olympic team in Bhutan’s history — involving previously unfound athletes from all parts of the nation. To play Baseball5 (or to introduce the sport into your local community), contact Bhutan Baseball & Softball. Additionally, we host weekly Baseball5 scrimmages in the capital city.
